 On this occasion, the Student Association of the Department of Management (HMDM) of Andalas University has carried out one of the annual work programs, namely Management Goes To School (MGTS). This activity is a visit as well as socialization to several schools that aims to introduce more broadly about the Management Department of Andalas University to high school students in Padang City who are preparing to enter the world of lectures. Visits to several schools have been carried out from January 8, 2024 to January 19, 2024.

Some of the schools that have been visited at MGTS this time are SMAN 1 Padang, SMAN 2 Padang, SMAN 3 Padang, SMAN 4 Padang, SMAN 4 West Sumatra, SMAN 7 Padang, SMAN 10 Padang, SMAN 15 Padang, and SMAN 16 Padang. In this activity, only socialized for grade 12 students and then a team division was carried out where in each school visit there were 2-3 people in charge of socializing each class. The first thing conveyed at the time of socialization was the introduction of Andalas University starting from when Unand was established, ranking, campus location, faculties and undergraduate programs in Unand.

 Furthermore, it was conveyed about the Management Department, starting from the explanation of management, the vision and mission of the Management Department, admission lines and quotas, the division of study programs contained in the Unand Management Department, things studied, concentrations that can be chosen, accreditation, achievements that have been achieved and organizations contained in the Management Department. In addition, MGTS this time also held a free Tryout with well-known tutoring held online, this aims to help and accommodate high school students who are preparing to continue their education in the world of lectures to be trained in doing questions and can measure their abilities so that they are expected to take the real exam optimally.

MGTS this time also involves volunteers where these volunteers are part of the Management Department who are willing to take the time and are interested in adding new experiences. That way, MGTS runs well smoothly, this cannot be separated from the cooperation involving the committee, volunteers, the school, and the enthusiasm of the students visited. Through this MGTS, it can provide a little overview of the Unand Management Department to students who are interested in continuing their education in the world of lectures.

Also, through this MGTS, it is hoped that students can be interested and choose the Unand Management Department as their choice considering that the Management Department has been accredited Superior, has organizations that can hone skills and abilities, and the Management Department has also created many proud achievements. In addition, it is hoped that the Tryout presented by MGTS this time can provide benefits for prospective students. Therefore, MGTS is here to attract the attention and interest of high school students to choose and be part of this Management Department.
