On August 4, 2020, the Faculty of Economics, University of Andalas (FEUA) held an online semester lecture preparation meeting for the 2020/2021 academic year.

Different from the lecture preparation meeting last semester, at this meeting FEUA invited the Chairperson of the Covid-19 Vigilance Team of Andalas University, Dr. dr. Yevri Zulfiqar, Sp.B, Sp.U. dr. Yevri, who is also the President Director of the Andalas University Hospital, was invited to give direction to FEUA lecturers and educational staff regarding the Covid-19 pandemic.

dr. Yefri in his presentation said that the academic community in Unand must be disciplined in carrying out health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic by wearing masks, frequently washing hands with soap or hand sanitizer, maintaining distance when interacting, showering after returning home from activities.

Furthermore, dr. Yefri also recommends consuming food and vitamins to maintain and increase endurance.

After the presentation by the Chairperson of the Covid-19 Unand Awareness Team, the odd semester lecture preparation meeting was continued by the Dean of FEUA with a discussion of lecture schedules, lecturer teaching schedules and several things related to lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Efa Yonnedi, SE., MPPM., Ak., CA as the Dean said that the 2020/2021 academic year odd semester lectures for old students will begin on August 10, 2020, while new students class 2020 will start on September 14, 2020.

This odd semester lecture preparation meeting was attended by representatives of deans, lecturers and educational staff in the Faculty of Economics, Unand.
